You feel so great to hike and bike around the town on a nice day in Kyoto. Kyoto is surrounded by mountains, so if you ride your bike a little, you can reach to mountains. Then take a bath at a bath house, nice lunch and tea.. What a nice life. Thank God, I'm so glad that I was born in Kyoto.
9:30 - 11:00 1. Mt. Daimonji: To start a nice holiday, let's hike up this mountain. It will take just 1 hour to go up and come back, easy but the scenery you get from the top is amazing. Now it might be a little bit difficult to find the way to the mountain. You find the world famouse temple Ginkakuji, and when you face the main entrance, take left and at the end of the street you'll see a shrine, then turn right and go 50m more without entering the shrine. Then the street is split into two, you take the right one, now you park your bike and start hiking! Take the same way to come back.

11:55-12:45 3. Funaoka Onsen: It's an old cool bath house. The building and the tiles are so retro. I love this bath house, and one time I stayed too long and fainted.. and don't forget to drink "mummy" a small bottled drink after bath, which was my custom in my childhood.
